PP Real Sweet Onion BBQ Burger

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 whole-wheat hamburger buns

  • 1 c baby butter lettuce

  • 4 T BBQ sauce

  • ½ c pickles

  • 1 lg extra sweet onion, peeled and sliced

  • 4 Campari tomatoes, rinsed and sliced

DIRECTIONS

  1. Over medium-high heat, in a non-stick pan, cook the onions until they begin to brown, stirring often. This will take about 10 min.

  2. Remove the onions from the heat. Add the BBQ sauce to the onions and combine until all of the onions are coated in the sauce.

  3. Toast the hamburger buns in a toaster. Stack the BBQ onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles on the buns to complete your burgers.

  4. Serve and enjoy!
