PP Brussell Sprouts w/ PS Sweet & Smoky Dressing

Chefs: Jessica and Brian Krock, The Krocks

Makes: 4 Servings

Prep Time: 10 min sprouts, 5 min for dressing

Cook Time: 10 -15 min/air fryer, 20-25 min/oven

Total Time: 20-25 min air fryer, or 30-35 min /oven

INGREDIENTS

Brussels Sprouts

  1. 16 oz Brussels sprouts

  2. 1 T extra lemon juice

Dressing

  1. Brian’s Sweet & Smoky Dressing, video, the recipe is also on PBNSG.org

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F, or you can also use an air fryer.

  2. Make the Sweet & Smoky Dressing. You can make a full batch and measure out ¼ c or make the “single serving” ¼ batch of the recipe using a smaller blender/bullet.

  3. Prep the Brussels sprouts by trimming off the bottom of the stem and removing any yellowed or blemished out leaves. Cut them in half lengthwise through the stem.

  4. Place prepped Brussels sprouts into a large bowl and coat with 1 T lemon juice.

  5. Lay Brussels sprouts (cut side down) on a baking tray or air fryer basket/tray. If cooking in the over, line your baking tray with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

  6. Bake in the oven for 20-25 min, until bottoms have caramelized. If using an air fryer, cook at 375 degrees F for 10-15 min, rotating/shaking halfway through.

  7. Transfer roasted Brussels sprouts to a large bowl and gently toss to coat with the Sweet & Smoky Dressing. You can also serve with the dressing on the side as a dipping sauce.

  8. Enjoy!

TIP

  1. These would make a nice side dish or even an appetizer if you spread them out on a fancy tray with the dressing in the middle as the dipping sauce.

  2. Watch the video.
