PS Apple Pie Baked Oats

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 ½ c of rolled oats

  • 4 T of Ceylon cinnamon (any kind will work)

  • ½ t nutmeg

  • 2/5 c hot water

  • ½ c unsweetened nut milk

  • ¼ c maple syrup (optional; you can use date paste, alternative, too)

  • 1 heaping c of raisins

  • 4 lg Envy apples diced (your favorite kind will work, too.)


DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Place rolled oats, cinnamon, and nutmeg into mixing bowl and stir until combined well.

  3. Add hot water and mix well.

  4. Add unsweetened nut milk, maple syrup, and raisins mixing well.

  5. Set aside.

  6. Clean and dice apples and add to bowl. Stir until apples are coated well in the oats mixture.

  7. Pour mixture into a parchment-lined 13” x 9” dish.

  8. Place into oven and bake for 40 min.

  9. Take out and let it cool for 15-20 min before serving. Cuts into 6 pieces.

  10. Serve and Enjoy!
