Meet The Host!
My name is Jean Holoday. I get inspired when creating WFPB recipes and serving them to people I care about. My earliest experience with this journey began at age 19 when my roommate and I became vegetarian because first we had no idea how to cook meat, and second because I had read Diet for a Small Planet. It just made sense. It’s making even more sense now. My latest sojourn began when I attended a Wellness program almost 2 ½ years ago. Since then I have been successfully improving my health every day. I joined PBNSG 2 years ago and have attended educational seminars as well as appearances by Dr. Joel Fuhrman and others. I have a passion for learning about the latest health science and how it relates to food. I am very excited to begin facilitating a small group in order to share not just what I know, but also what others would like to share from their own experiences. I am a Professional Counselor who works with children and adults struggling with mental health issues. Currently I am working on getting certified as a Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider so that I can bring awareness and education to my clients, because as we know, what we eat has a direct impact on our health and well-being, including mental health.
