Today, Jeremy and myself had the privilege of meeting and talking with Marilyn in my home. Marilyn shared her medical journey and her path to plant based nutrition. She spoke of the challenges she faced in the past with controlling her cholesterol numbers and her recent problems with cardiovascular disease. We offered support and advice to her and motivated her to stick to following a whole food plant based diet to benefit her overall health. We exchanged recipes, cooking tips, and grocery store tips to her. We also enjoyed a delicious plant based meal that include plant perfect mango salsa, black bean soup, cauliflower soup, green beans with mushrooms, and Jeremy's Creamed Kale.
