Marilyn shared her medical journey and her path to plant-based nutrition. She spoke of the challenges she faced in the past with controlling her cholesterol numbers and her recent problems with cardiovascular disease. Recipes, cooking tips, and grocery store tips were exchanged. We also enjoyed a delicious plant-based meal that included Plant Perfect mango salsa, black bean soup, cauliflower soup, green beans with mushrooms, and creamed Kale.
