PP Fruit Kanten (Vegan Jello)

  • 4 c apple juice

  • 4 t agar powder

  • 1 ½c assorted small pieces of fruit (I used blackberries, raspberries & sliced bananas)


  1. In a medium pan, bring the apple juice and agar powder to boil over medium temperature. This will take 5-6 minutes.

  2. Whisk to make sure the agar dissolves and it doesn’t clump.

  3. Once boiling, lower the temperature and cook 2 more minutes.

  4. Get a pan ready for pouring in the apple juice mixture.

  5. For me, a 9 x 9 baking dish was perfect.

  6. Pour in the juice and scatter the fruit on top.

  7. Put in the refrigerator for at least one over until it sets.

  8. Cut and serve.
