PP: Red Cabbage and Onion Sauté

Total Time:  20 minutes




  • 1 red onion, cut into thin slivers
  • ⅙ red cabbage, cut into long thin strips
  • 1 T brown rice vinegar
  • ¼ t salt


  1. Saute onions in ¼ cup water until tender.
  2. Add the red cabbage, salt, and vinegar. Cook 20 - 25 minutes until tender, adding water as needed to keep pan from turning brown.

Tip: Delicious as a side dish!
