- 1 red onion, cut into thin slivers
- ⅙ red cabbage, cut into long thin strips
- 1 T brown rice vinegar
- ¼ t salt
- Saute onions in ¼ cup water until tender.
- Add the red cabbage, salt, and vinegar. Cook 20 - 25 minutes until tender, adding water as needed to keep pan from turning brown.
Tip: Delicious as a side dish!
