Naples Green Scene

The Naples Green Scene (NGS) had humble beginnings as a Meet Up group that has quickly grown into a plant-powered community!

Founder and author of The Green Scene Diet, Linda Berson, began adapting her husband’s and her own lifestyle to whole foods, plant-based and oil-free in order to combat heart disease. She quickly observed the lack of social events and community that catered to this niche lifestyle and was determined to change that! With the intention of creating community and social events that would cater to those who had begun to eat plant-based and oil-free for health, Linda began the Meet-Up group. Since then, Linda has passed the baton to Michelle Joy Kramer and a small committed team. They have expanded the group past 800 members and begun a wide variety of education based events, spreading the NGS mission throughout the health community in Naples.

Vicki Brett-Gach is a Master Vegan Lifestyle Coach and Educator through Main Street Vegan Academy and a Certified Personal Chef through Wellness Forum Health. She has a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition through the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. She is also a Chef and Culinary Instructor with us at PBNSG!

Jeff Novick, is truly a unique dietitian and nutritionist. With over 24 years of experience in nutrition, health, fitness and natural living, he offers expert health advice distilled into powerful, easy-to-understand language on a variety of current topics. Jeff serves as Vice President for Executive Health Exams International and lectures at the McDougall Program in Santa Rosa, California and at the Engine 2 Immersion program in Austin, TX.

With over fourteen years of experience in the field of pharmacy, Dustin Rudolph, PharmD, BCPS is a board certified clinical pharmacist currently practicing in an acute care community hospital setting. In 2009, Dr. Rudolph adopted a vegetarian diet, and then a whole foods, plant-based (vegan) diet a year later. He founded this website at that time with a goal of providing reliable, high-quality, evidence-based health and wellness information to improve the knowledge of both patients and medical professionals alike. He continued his education in the field of healthcare in 2010 by earning a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition through the T. Colin Campbell Foundation and eCornell University.
