Katie Mae - Culinary Coach

Katie Mae is a plant-based culinary coach and nutritionist on a mission to empower people in living brighter lives via delicious plant foods. She teaches how to make a plant-based diet simple to do, healthy, flavor-packed so that it's joyfully sustainable.
Katie Mae is the founder of Plantz St. Culinary Gym in downtown Santa Rosa, CA. The culinary gym is a place for people to learn and practice cooking with whole plant foods to enhance their fitness and quality of life. She also leads a vibrant, interactive online culinary training to help you where ever you are in the world.
Between her live events, online training, and the Plant-Based Recipe Club, Katie Mae wants to help build your kitchen fitness and make your plant-based cooking habitual, so preparing delicious plant food feels like second nature.
Katie Mae is a cooking instructor for the McDougall programs and TrueNorth Health Center. She also contributes to the Forks Over Knives and the Food Revolution Network websites. Katie Mae holds a Master of Science in Nutrition from Bastyr University and has completed the Rouxbe Plant-based Culinary Certification. You can find her recipes and programs at PlantzSt.com.

Debby Knight Jones, BAS, RDH, CHES - Director of Health Education

Debby Knight Jones holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Education from the University of Michigan, a Certification in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell University, a national certification as a Health Education specialist…and she is a Registered Dental Hygienist.

Debby brings her own experience with weight and health – having lost 100 pounds and reversing severe hypertension through a plant based lifestyle – to help others make their own transition simple and affordable.

Debby served as the Director of Health Education for PT Heart, and she has presented to audiences on health and nutrition for years.    She specializes in making science simple, and we are very happy to have her HERE as Director Health Education PBNSG.

Debby brings an approach to teaching that is firmly rooted in scientific evidence, while at the same time offering simple and effective means to accomplish the oftentimes daunting task of changing eating habits and altering lifestyle. She also brings her personal experience overcoming a lifetime struggle with weight and numerous health problems to ultimately losing more than 90 pounds and reversing severe hypertension through a whole foods plant-based diet. She believes in making the transition to a healthier whole foods plant-based lifestyle not just an attainable temporary change, but a maintainable lifestyle that can be both uncomplicated and affordable for anyone.
