Meet The Host!
"I began my life changing journey in November of 2010 after leaving my Doctors office knowing that if I did not make drastic changes I was looking at Insulin for Type 2 Diabetes.
I have since then lost 158 pounds, and no longer take any medications for Diabetes, High Blood Pressure and Cholesterol. I did all of this by changing the food I eat and becoming physically active.
Although I did not start out on a Plant-Based Whole Food diet, during my quest to change my health through lots of research and study I decided to adopt the WFPB way of eating not only for health reasons for my self and my husband but for the health and welfare of animals and Planet Earth!
It is my desire to help everyone I can by being a living example of how food really is your medicine!
I am also currently seeking my certification in Plant-based nutrition and also becoming a Food For Life Certified Trainer."
