Doctors Teaching Doctors: A Professional Seminar

Robert Breakey, MD; Caroline Trapp, DNP; Elizabeth Swenor, DO; Joel Kahn, MD

Mounting research points to the Standard American Diet as having a huge impact on the epidemic of chronic diseases that we are experiencing in America, including obesity, diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, and more. This event included local practitioners teaching other doctors how a plant-based diet can help their patients prevent, arrest and, in many cases, even reverse our nation's leading causes of disability and early death. By empowering patients and helping them to address the root cause of chronic illness, we can truly make a difference in their lives, while at the same time lowering health care costs, improving their experience of care and greatly enhancing outcomes. A big thank you to Dr. Robert Breakey, MD, Caroline Trapp, DNP, Elizabeth Swenor, DO, and Joel Kahn, MD for teaching and to all who attended and made this such a successful and informational event!
